What would be the best path for me to take if I want to be a Pathologist in the U.S. Airforce?

When school starts back, I will be a senior in high school. I'm 16 years old, 17 in September. I've had 3 years of AFJROTC, but my program has been going down. There just isn't any enjoyment in it for me anymore. I absolutely love the structure and solidity of the military, but our program just..isn't cutting it I guess. The instructors, the students.. No one takes it seriously, and it's neither hurting or helping me right now. I'm thinking about dropping it this year to take a Pharm Tech cl. At our previous Banquet, I was awarded the certificate of 3 years completion..and with that I should be able to come out as an E3 at BMT [Right?].. So is dropping the program really a wise decision? I want to study to be a Doctor of Pathology at Louisiana Tech University. Should I go into their AC program first, or head straight to BMT after high school? Also, I would like to go to Officer School..I'm severely confused by the entire process of things. :(. I think I would like to go into the Reserves.. I'm currently in a steady relationship with someone whom I would consider my high school sweetheart and my future husband. What are some nice suburbs of Oakland with good schools?

Piedmont is good but very expensive. Oakland Hills neighborhoods have great schools like Chabot, Hillcrest, & Thornhill(elementary schools). People try to cram into these areas to be in the school districts. You'd be hard pressed to find a house less than half a million, but there are condos that are. The real "towns" that fall in your financial category are San Leandro, Castro Valley, Hayward, El Cerrito. The problem is the schools aren't that great. Better than Oakland, but that unfortunately, isn't saying much. Basically, where the public schools are good the property values are high. You might have to compromise one or the other a little bit. Alameda is a consideration, that might be your best bet.

You should have thought of that before you had to go to college. How will you maintain a real job if you cannot handle your own finances? This makes no sense that you couldn't get a job cause of a Thesis. This isn't acceptable. You should have worked at McDonald's part-time. Your loss. You learn the hard way. Some may not sympathize for you about your finances cause of your immaturity. You need to learn how to be responsible. If you cannot afford the rent you shouldn't be living in your own place. You should have budget your income. Don't rely on loans or grants. This will be odd to ask but when you graduate will there be a job waiting for you? Just be responsible from now on.

Anyone have trouble making stew?

Oy vey, the prices of groceries have sky rocketed recently and it's predicted to go up even more, there are even increases of people shoplifting groceries, my heart goes out to them even though it's a crime. The beauty of making stew is that you can buy the cheapest cut of beef which usually is the leanest and have great end result. I dredge the cubes of beef in flour, dust and brown all sides in vegetable oil, add half low sodium beef and half chicken stock and canned tomatoes and let it come to boil, reduce and let simmer for at least an hour and a half with seasoning. Taste the meat, if it's tender enough add cubed or sliced veggies, one of my fav. to add is radishes and pearl onions, the onions are in frozen section, bring up the heat a bit, let simmer for 10 minutes or til the veggies are tender and enjoy.

My ex of nearly a year split up with me 6 weeks ago and i havent seen him since. We had a long distance relationship and initially it was over a text message on my phone from a guy friend about a job that he didnt know so I understand why he was upset. I was immature and just wanted attention really. He text me Saturday night and said he was sorry for hurting me how he loved me and really missed me but couldnt be with me as he wasnt happy and i wont change. I promised him I would and admitted I was immature and only realise this now and how all couples go through this but if he loved me he wouldn just let go without trying and he said its the right thing. He popped up on FB chat yesterday morning and asked me was I ok? I said yea and was he and he said ya then I said I was sorry for making him so unhappy and that I missed telling him my stupid stories and he said I miss hearing them aswell. I text him earlier and told him all i wanted to do was hug him and he text back hours later and said me 2 :( , he text me later then and started a conversation putting x's at the end of messages and then told me missed kissing me and i said i missed snuggling into him and he sent me an unhappy face i told him i loved him and he told me he did 2 but i didnt text back. I spoke to his mam this evening and she told me he had a fight with her a week ago and they havent spoke since (they are both very stubborn) so could this be the reason he isnt asking me up to his house? There's a very good chance that you won't be able to convince your parents at all. But if it were to happen, you would pretty much have to be an adult, have a sit down with them, explain the situation, and ask "What would it take for you to let bf stay here next summer for a few weeks?" If I were a father, I'm not too sure I would want him in a hotel, because I would be worried that you might end up there too. If they are immovable, you can ask them for suggestions. Perhaps you have a male friend in your area that would be willing to put him up. Perhaps between everyone involved, you could pitch in and afford a hotel. Some cities have hostels that aren't too expensive. In any case, your best bet to be treated like an adult is to act like an adult, and you do that by keeping everything out in the open and on the up & up.

Hi, I am 27 yrs old and have been very overweight for most of my life. At 21, I dropped about 80lbs on the Atkins diet, I didn't exercise much. I 've tried to exercise on my own, but I can't seem to stick with a routine, so I've decided to join a gym. I've put my money where my mouth is, so to speak, and there is no going back now. I am ready to exercise and be heaither. I've managed to keep the weight off for the past 5 years, but I've gained about 20 lbs over the past year due to stress. I weigh about 140 at the moment. I dropped a lot of weight very fast and my skin sags in certain areas, it is very depressing. My question is, can I firm up the loose skin with exercise? Will it be possible to achieve a flat stomach, firm thighs, and get rid of the flabs on my arms? My friends and family think I have a great body, but they don't know what I look like naked. My body needs a lot od work, and I am willing to work hard, but I need to know is it possible to firm up all the loose skin.

Is there a mosque in London where you don't have to cover your hair and men and women are not segregated? I once went to the Ismaili centre in South Kensington and felt comfortable b/c it's a modern setting with men and women mingling and praying together. Everyone socialised after prayers, which I really liked. However, I am Sunni & only visited this mosque once to learn more about their faith b/c I lived with an Ismaili girl. Background on me: I am a 24 year old professional, born and bred in the UK and living in London. I am not particularly religious e.g. I drink now and then, eat McDonalds and have had boyfriends but grew up with Islam. As a child, we'd read the stories from the Qu'ran, fast and celebrate Eid. Over the years, I have lost touch with my faith but would like to re-connect. Are there other Muslims in London who are in a similar situation to me? I have no desire to cover my hair/body, alienate myself from men or give up alcohol - I see nothing wrong with the odd drink now and then. Since Feb. 09 I have had severe itching, burning, and sometimes swelling of my labia majora. I have seen a gyno twice. First I was treated for a yeast infection and was given a cream to insert and a cream for the labia minora. The second time I was cleaned with iodine and given the same cream for the labia minora. I seem to have the same ongoing problem. I cannot have with my husband because it is too painful. Sometimes when I wash it burns(I am using hypoallergenic soap). I only wear cotton panties. She cries all the time, and when she found out my boyfriend and I were looking to live together she said she wanted to be happy for me but also wanted to kill me and hide my body in the basement so I couldnt leave her. Her job coach laughed like nothing was wrong with that statement and then continued to threaten me and say she was going to have the management at my job get involved if I continued to talk to my coworkers about how me and her were having differences. She blatanlty insulted me, and I then wrote a note saying if I told anyone about this meeting she would tell my boss I was gossiping about her client aka my roomate. What the hell should I do? I want to move out anyway but what rights do I have and what should I do about her collecting income on me and not claiming it, I am pretty sure thats not legal and I do not think its right she collects social security and works a job and has me paying her extra without claiming it. Should I have stiches on a 1cm open cut eyebrow?

I'm in India, and I hit my eyebrow against a shower knob. It made about a 1cm long cut on my left eyebrow. The cut is maybe only about a millimeter or less deep. Getting stitches in an Indian hospital seemed counterproductive and seeming that the cut was small we opted to use band-aid tape to hold it together. I cleaned it with anti-bacterial hand sanitizer (best available option at hand) then applied iodine for a few minutes, then cleaned it again and then I bandaged it with the sticky part of the band-aid cutting off the soft portion and just using the sticky part to hold it together. My hope was this would be effective enough to hold the skin together. Seems that when I pressed both sides of the cut it would stay together momentarily, so that is why we taped it with the band-aid gause. What do you think? Not sure I need stitches for this cut, but tell me if I'm wrong please. Also, don't stitches cause more scarring? What is the best I can do given my current environment? I incurred the cut about 24hrs ago. thank you so much for your reply

Why cant I stop eating junk food?

My weight and appitite has always fluctuated and so has my eating habbits. I have never been totally happy with my weight I seem to go through phases of eating healthy and then pigging out on junk food it,s like I,m a devil possesed when I start piggin out I just cant stop. Hello can any help i have been having problems in my left leg it feels tired all the hurts to bend like when i sit on the couch and put the left leg under me can't do it.the other day my left leg gave out on me and i fell down. i got hurt back in January from work i slipped and fell on ice and hit my left knee ever since then i have been having a lot of problems with this leg. i lost my job from it and plus i was on workman comp which i am no longer on but i do have a lawyer. but every time i get up my left leg is always sore fells tired and numb all the time i can't stand on it very long without it hurting. would anyone know what it is? please help i think i have a very serious problem on my hands it gets to the point where it feels like it's starting to swell. just need the pain to go away keeps me up at night thanks again

I have a 1995 ram pkup & posted this ques. about my fuel pump stop&start on banging on gas tank with my hand. I have been told by a friend that there is a safety shutdown switch that acctiv. in an acc. and stops the pump.I did hit the hitch not hard, against a steel rail and shut my truck off, when I tried to restart 12 hours later the pump was not working then tap the tank and it starts. does anyone know of this switch? my 1987 ford had a safety shut down switch on the firewall for the fuel pump. thanx jray

Are EMU boots better than UGG boots?

I prefer UGG boots. One of my friends has a pair of tall grey EMUs and there is barely any shearling lining and the sheepskin looks thin. Pain after household chores?

i think all you need to do is practice on gr over and over again. don't go too fast, or you will fall. and a pop shove-it is probably a good trick right after ollieing. on a pop shove it, all you do is an ollie while twisting with your hips and legs to move the board 180 degrees.

Sounds to me that it is more of a problem with your M Air Flow sensor, that sensor sends a value based on the air intake which allows your cars ECU to regulate your fuel to air ratios. If it is malfunctioning it could result in your car running rich (dumping more fuel than needed), in turn this would also result in your engine working harder to burn the fuel, hints the high rpms to keep running when idle. It's like doing side bends for your hips or love handles. You can also hold a can of fruit or can food in each hand. Arms are straight at your sides. Lift them up and hold them straight out from your sides. Hold until your arms began to quiver. Let them back down to the sides and then repeat the procedure as much as you can. Each day it will be easier and those arm pit flab's will strengthen as will the backside doing this same exercise. Even doing push ups will strengthen both areas. How can I get dog urine off of an ultra-suede cushion?

I have an older mini-daschund rescue who has bladder problems. I just found a spot on the couch where she apparently peed on a sheet, and it can now be smelled on the ultra suede cushion underneath. I unzipped it, and I can smell it even inside. I sprayed some febreze on the inside foam, but I don't know what to do with the ultra suede cover.
