I don't know where you live, but did you know that in many school districts if you have a medical problem that keeps you out of school for a prolonged period, your parents can arrange for a certified private tutor to come to your home to work with you and the school district will pay for it? I did this many years ago when my child had surgery and had to be out for several weeks. The tutor made scheduled home visits to work with him and he did extremely well as if he had not missed one cl.
