I have a gl chicken w/ruby slippers ornament. How can I find out more about the origin of this?

The chicken is yellow w/black polka dots, a silver slipper with a red heart is on its back and it's wearing ruby slippers on springy legs. I'm trying to find out what the ornament symbolizes and if there's another one out there like it. It's driving me crazy! Thanks for any references you can give me!
