Computer randomly freezing?

Today my CPU has randomly started freezing for up to minutes. I checked my CPU temputure with Asus PC Probe and apparently its around 55 degrees Celsius. And the CPU fan is around 5000 RPM. What should I do to make it stop freezing randomly?
