I'm in love with my best friend?

Or at least, I think I am. I'm not sure if it's a crush or love. Okay, here's how it goes. We've been friends since 3rd grade and had the same homeroom until 6th, which meant we had all the same cles. Once we were separated in 6th, that's when I first started feeling something. Still, we talked constantly and we were always together during school hours. We'd talk about anything that came to mind and had tons of things in common. I really started crushing on her in 8th grade, and also when she moved to a different school. Now, I'm thinking about her constantly and we rarely talk. We haven't seen each other in over a year and I haven't talked to her in months. Whenever we did talk, I was always the one to call her. People always said that she had a crush on me, but I'm not even sure if she likes me as a friend. Please help!
