How can you make this sentence clearer?

Duncan’s action shows how he is unaware of the prophecy and how the prophecy is happening due to Macbeth’s action. Therefore, Macbeth’s future depends on his actions. In the beginning of the Scottish Play, Macbeth is considered as a hero who defends Scotland against the enemies and a great leader appointed by Duncan. However, as the prophecies come true, Macbeth blinds by his ambitions of the king’s throne.
