RO water for saltwater tank?

ive used my chlorinated tap for a yr now with my hardy clown and inverts as a FOWLR tank. im getting my 46 gal tmw and im going beginner reef w hardy soft corals and want to kno where i should get water from?? or what type of filter should i buy if i get one? does distilled water from the store work?
