Yamaha Blaster 04 will not start PLEASE HELP! I'v cleaned carb. and air filter I'm getting a spark whats next?

It sat up for over a year and we have cleaned the carb. air filter and checked the spark after cleaning every thing and applying new gas tried to pull start and it had a very hallo empty sound. I am doing a lot of research I just can't figure out where to start Please Help????????? I have a little experience with 2 strokes I'm a quick learner and very dedicated this is my baby and I had to put her up while I was very ill I would Love to Ride again !!!!
