Are EMU boots better than UGG boots?

I prefer UGG boots. One of my friends has a pair of tall grey EMUs and there is barely any shearling lining and the sheepskin looks thin. They look extremely cheap when you compare them to her UGG Clic Talls. I disagree with Elizabeth G. about making a statement. They look too similar to Uggs, so there's no way you could make any statements. How much were those EMUs? -- the website didn't list the price.
