Could a spot in my mouth possibly be an infection?

Abcesses do not always hurt, some people have abcesses and may not realize it. I would definitely go to the dentist. If an abcess get too bad you can get chelitis or system infection. WHich can also cause heart problems nottrying to scare you but abcess are more serious then a lot of people realize saying they'll go away.
