Paris Hilton's my New BFF-Kayley Gable question?

Okay this isn't really a show I watch, but I was flipping through the channels today and I stopped on this show, because 2 girls were screaming at each other. One is Kayley Gable (granddaughter of Clark Gable), who is my opinion is not very pretty even though she acts like she is hot stuff. She had said that she had a couple words copyrighted so no one else can say them without her permission, I never found out what the words were but I didn't think you could do this. Can you really copyright words?
